Human buffy coats

Fresh buffy coats collected from healthy, rigorously screened donors and processed promptly to ensure high cell yield and reliable performance. Each unit includes full donor metadata and is delivered with flexible logistics to support time-sensitive studies.
Can’t find what you’re looking for? For specialised research needs, custom biospecimen collections can be designed with specific donor criteria, processing requirements or complex study protocols.

Key features and benefits
Buffy coat is the boundary layer between red blood cells and blood plasma, which is formed when whole blood is centrifuged. The film consists of leukocytes as well as platelets and accounts for only about 1% of the total blood volume in healthy individuals.
- High-yield leukocyte fraction
Rich in lymphocytes, monocytes, and granulocytes, supporting a broad range of immune and genomic workflows. - Well-characterised, fully screened donors
Medication-free donors with CMV/EBV testing, optional HLA typing, and clear demographic data for study consistency. - Consistent quality
Collected and processed using validated protocols to ensure reproducible cell composition and reliable downstream performance. - Dependable logistics and turnaround
Next-day delivery and full chain-of-custody for compliant, traceable research.
